HELD MISAWA GLOVES REVIEW – For when you’re only racing your mates

Imagine, if you will, a full-leather shorty glove that feels like a full race-glove but is easier to get on and off.

Behold the Misawa – a new offering from the Held German Glove Lords.

And yes, this one has Nudud on the forefinger and thumb so you can poke at your Smartphone and upload your Tik Tok dance videos.

Made from the luscious hide of Satan’s emotional support animal (the goat), if you’ve not experienced the softness of goatskin leather, you clearly haven’t been to same German nightclubs I’ve been to. I wouldn’t mind if girls were made from goatskin.

The Misawa jobbies offer quite a high-level of protection for a shorty sports glove.

The palm and ball of your thumb are reinforced with SuperFabric underlaid with Armaprotec, and the edge of the hand is reinforced as well.

They do up with an easy-on, easy-off Velcro strap at the wrist, and are fully perforated – so an ideal summer/spring/autumn glove. They come with leather stretch-panels on the thumb and forefingers for a snugger fit, even when you’re sawing at the clutch and brakes. And the fore- and middle-fingers of each hand have these mad graphics which also double as non-slip material for when you’re applying yourself.

Like all Held gloves, you also get a visor wiper-blade on the left forefinger, which is just such a great idea you gotta wonder why no-one else does it.

I kinda figured Held would be asking $300 for these but was surprised to learn they’ll only leave you $160 lighter. Yes, they come in black. Of course they do. What doesn’t? Yes, you’re right, yoghurt doesn’t.
